Gold yellow sands of the Qizilqum Desert open new opportunities for tourists

Firuza Akabirova, Uzbekturizm spokeswoman
“Healer – Nature of Qizilqum” is the name of a newly presented tourist health-improving program based on folk medicine and inexhaustible experience of our ancestors. Yurt campus will be revealed from a brand new side: not only as the exotic accommodation place but as the fount of health-improving and recreation resources. Relaxation will be accompanied with pleasing treatment and spa procedures.
“All procedures we divided into two types depending on their effect to people. Aura and zoo therapy will be used for recreation of energoinformational field, while treatment of physiological deviations will be performed by psamma-, phyto-, aroma-, and climatherapy,” tells the director of the ARK Holding Saidahmat Raubayev.
Recreation of energoinformational field is based on color therapy and zoo therapy. As, it is widely known that natural colors positively influence to mood and feeling of people, while contact with animals has impact on nervous system, especially useful to children with mental and nervous disorders. According to organizers, being surrounded with horses, camels and dogs one can feel the unity with nature and get charged with positive energy.
A number of tourist routes have been developed for implementation of the color therapy program based on the prevalence of one certain color in different seasons. For instance, in spring – green, blue, dark blue colors, autumn – red, orange and yellow colors.
By the way, not only color therapy, but psamma therapy also is considered the seasonal. “Sand Baths” should be performed in the scorching days of July and August.
Now its is time to take energy from bright spring flowers, rehabilitate with herbal potions, breath in fragrances of plants, take massage and aroma baths with essential oils and get a portion of good mood.
“Currently, the group of tourists from Russia enjoys the beauties and curative properties of the Qizilqum. After procedures they take a delight from the specially developed show programs “Nomad and Fire”, “Nomad and Female Trades”, “Nomad and Music,” says Saidahmat Raubayev.
While watching the show “Nomad and Fire” tourists could learn about the use of fire in everyday life of nomads and in war, in traditional religious rites and festivities, learn to light a fire with the help of steel and silicon and equip igniting arrows. Bright fireworks at the end of the program will illuminate the night sky of the desert.
The program “Nomad and Female Trades” involves tourists to be the part of the show where they can get familiarized with the art of making ornamented felted clothes, traditional dolls from fabrics, weaving on horizontal loom and knitting with bone needles.
Furthermore, tourists could also take a delight from such show programs as “Nomad and Equestrian Games”, “Nomand and Alabay”, “Nomad and Arms.” And, this enthralling route is based on the cultural, climate and geographical peculiarities of Uzbekistan that hide lots of other new no less interesting sides for tourists.
