Delegation of Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the 92nd session of the UNWTO Executive Council.

On 13 October, 2011, in Gyeongju, Republic of Korea, the new staff of the UNWTO Executive Council gathered for its regular session.
The delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by Chairman of “Uzbektourism” National Company Rustam Mirzaev, participated in the 92nd session of the UNWTO Executive Council as the full member of this authoritative UNWTO organ.
UNWTO Executive Council is the UNWTO governing body which meets twice a year and consists of full members elected by the General Assembly in the proportion of one Member for every five Full Members. The 91st and 92nd sessions of the UNWTO Executive Council were held in Gyeongju, Republic of Korea, just before the 19th Session of the UNWTO General Assembly and immediately after its completion.
The following Member States form the new staff of the UNWTO Executive Council: Argentina (2013), Bulgaria(2013), Brazil (2015), Burkina Faso (2013), Hungary (2013), Gambia (2015), Germany (2013), Egypt (2013), Zimbabwe (2013), India (2013), Indonesia (2015), Iran (2013), Spain (permanent member), Italy (2015), Kenya (2013), China (2015), Columbia (2013), Mauritania (2015), Madagascar (2015), Mexico (2015), Mozambique (2015), Nigeria (2015), Tanzania (2015), South Korea (2015), Russia (2015), Romania (2013), Saudi Arabia (2015), Serbia (2013), Uzbekistan (2015), France (2015), South Africa (2013), and Jamaica (2013).
The UNWTO Member States, participating in the work of the 92nd session of the UNWTO Executive Council, elected Kenya as Chairman of this authoritative organ.
