“The theme of the seminar is quite pressing in the present-day conditions when the government gives so much attention to the modernization of the tourism sphere, to the services quality upgrading, in particular,” tells the head of the Consulting Center Yelena Golysheva. “We have already organized a number of trainings for workers of airports, custom and border services aimed at improving the quality of receiving and servicing foreign tourists. The current seminar if the continuation of implementation of the resolution “On measures on tourism development” approved in January, 2011, by the Cabinet of Ministers.”

Representatives of over fifty hotels interested in service improvement took part in the training. During the forum the attendees discussed the issues on certification and standardization, fire safety in hotels, actions in case of emergency situations, as well as issues on protection of consumers and quality assurance of hotel services.
