We are pleased to invite you to attend the 1st meeting of the “Global NTO Think Tank – Creating Value through Collaboration”; a joint initiative of UNWTO and the European Travel Commission, which will take place at ITB Berlin in Germany, in ICC – Hall 7.3 onWednesday 7th March 2012, from 16:00 to 18:00 hrs.

The purpose of this ‘Think Tank’ is to provide an opportunity for the National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) to have a constructive dialogue at a global level on a shared vision and a strategic approach to clearly understand and adapt to the changing market conditions and trends.

In this regard, the UNWTO new study “Tourism Towards 2030” will also be presented to the participants at the outset of the meeting. Furthermore, the ‘Think Tank’ will explore new paths for strengthening the cooperation among NTOs and create a pro-active platform for collaboration on common issues and strategic priorities which will be identified during this meeting.

Please find attached a Conceptual Note together with a preliminary programme. Please be advised that the working language of the meeting will be English.
