Discover your homeland! organized by the Geographical Society of Uzbekistan and the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development. The competition of photo materials on the topic has finished.  

 Overall 517 photos from the regions were submitted to the contest.

The works of the attendants who actively participated in the competition and took honorable places in the competitions are as follows:

 1. Photo work "Ayoz qal’a" (Republic of Karakalpakstan)

2. Photo work "Zomin tog’larida" (Jizzakh region)

3. Photo work "Zumrad ko’l" (Namangan region)

4. Photo work "Taxtaqoracha dovoni" (Samarkand region)

5. Photo work "Boysun tog’idagi Xo’ja Gur-gur ota sari" (Surkhandarya region)

6. Photo work "Nanay" (Tashkent region)

7. “G’ilon qishlog’i ”(Kashkadarya region)

            In addition, the jury determined the winners in 4 nominations. Winners of nominations:

- Nomination for the best photo of the landscape - a photo entitled "Qush tili (Lison ut tayir) qoyasi";

- Nomination for the best photo work depicting a historical monument - a photo work "Amir Temur maqbarasi qishda";

- Nomination for the best photo of the shrine - a photo entitled "Qosim Shayh maqbarasi";

- Nomination for the best panoramic photo - photo work "Baxmalning baxmal adirlari".

The jury noted that the competition was more interesting, meaningful and full of bright pictures than expected.
