In recent years, Uzbekistan has taken draft measures to support and organize tourist trips for people with disabilities.
According to the Association of disabled people of Uzbekistan, in 2019, as of January 1, the number of persons with disabilities in the country is 709,000.
In accordance with the Plan of measures on realization of the concept of development of tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019-2025, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 7 February 2018 №-PD-5611, and in accordance with the Decree "On measures to ensure the accelerated development of domestic tourism" № PD-3514 defines objectives for development of social tourism for persons with disabilities (persons with disabilities).
As practice shows in Uzbekistan today there is no single system of financial support for travel of persons with disabilities.
